About the Role

As Back of House Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager and Risk Team to ensure that all operational and administrative tasks are completed accordingly. You will be managing your Back of House Team to ensure that they work hand-in-hand with the Shop Floor Team Members to achieve operational excellence, assisting the storein achieving sales and profits.

You will be responsible (but not limited to) the following, duties & responsibilities: 

Team Management

  • Proactively work alongside the Store Manager & HR to recruit and onboard new talent
  • Task delegation, follow up , training and support
  • Succession planning with Team Members, working alongside the Store Manager
  • Manage any Team Member grievances with Store Manager & HR


Store Operations and Loss Prevention

  • Management of Customer complaints and discrepancies
  • Lead daily and weekly walk throughs in the Back of House area
  • Task delegation amongst team
  • Plan and manage stock deliveries, ensuring that deadline are adhered to in order to meet timeframes
  • Effectively manage stock levels by department, brand and style
  • Manage faulty stock
  • Oversee daily and weekly administrative tasks
  • Coordinate Stock take with the Store Manager, Risk Department and Back of House Team


Financial Management

  • Work in partnership with the Store Manager and communicate the overall expectations and weekly store KPI’s to Back of House Team
  • Roster Management


Workplace Health & Safety

  • Ensure that a duty of care of demonstrated by providing a safe and healthy workplace
  • Train all new and existing team members to carry out tasks in accordance to safe work practices
  • Adhere to incident reporting


Who you Are

  • Previous Management experience in a similar role and retail environment
  • Experience in team management and development
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills ( Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Leader, motivator & overall inspiring individual
  • Operations orientated
  • Knowledge of WHS
  • Loves the Glue brand and culture
